What is private label?
The factory produces the charcoal and packs it under your brand name and design, so it reaches your customers as your own product. You own the brand and the customer relationship; the factory handles production and packing.
Why build your own brand?
- You own your customers: they ask for your brand, not the factory's name.
- You control the price: you aren't competing with other distributors in your market on the same brand.
- You choose the specifications: the shape, size and quality grade that suit your customers.
1. Choose the product and quality grade
Decide on the shape (cube, hexagonal, dome, cube with hole or finger), the size and the quality grade. Your brand will be known for this experience, so choose the grade that fits your selling price. Read about the difference between quality grades.
2. Choose the box weight
We pack under the customer's brand in 1 kg, 500 g and 250 g boxes, inside 10 kg export cartons:

A 1 kg box of cube charcoal holds 72 pieces in 25 mm, 64 in 26 mm and 56 in 27 mm. Smaller boxes suit retail sales in shops; larger ones suit cafés and regular smokers.
3. Prepare your brand name and design
Send your brand name and design with your quote request. Before printing, check the information your country requires on the packaging – such as weight, country of origin, importer details and warnings – because these requirements vary from market to market.
4. Quantity and lead time
The minimum order is a 20 ft container with 15 tons; a 40 ft container holds 27 tons. Lead time is 15 to 35 days, depending on quantity. Details on our packaging page.
