What is coconut hookah charcoal?
Coconut hookah charcoal (also called coco charcoal or shisha charcoal in some markets) is compressed charcoal made from coconut shells that are ground and shaped into pieces of uniform shape and size. Uniform shape and size make it easier to use on the hookah bowl and help the trader offer customers a consistent product from one shipment to the next.
At Coconut Charcoal Factory we have worked with this raw material since 2016 in New Damietta, Egypt, producing five shapes: cube, hexagonal, dome (half-sphere), cube with hole and cylindrical fingers.
A coconut charcoal factory in Egypt with 100 tons a month
The factory produces 100 tons per month and operates under an ISO 9001 quality management system. The raw material goes through clear stages inside the factory: grinding the coconut shells, shaping and pressing on the production lines, cutting to the required shape and size, then packing and container loading. This capacity lets us supply repeat containers to importers and wholesalers, with a lead time of 15 to 35 days depending on quantity.

Importers usually look at four figures before ordering: fixed carbon, ash, moisture and burn time. These are the figures for our cube charcoal:

Wholesale hookah charcoal under your brand
We work with importers, distributors, wholesalers and brand owners. You can order the charcoal under your own brand (private label) in 1 kg, 500 g and 250 g boxes inside 10 kg cartons, or bulk-packed in 10, 5 and 3 kg cartons. We export coconut charcoal by container to the Middle East, Europe, the USA and Australia. The minimum order is one 20 ft container with 15 tons, and a 40 ft container carries 27 tons. We ship from the ports of Damietta, Port Said, Alexandria and Ain Sokhna on CIF terms to your port of destination, or EXW with pickup from the factory.
